How many moles are there in 140g of Si (atomic mass of silicon is 28)
Answer: A
There are 5 moles.
\[n = \frac{\text{mass}}{\text{molar mass}} = \frac{140}{28} = 5\ \text{mol}\]
which is \(5 \times 6.022\times10^{23} = 3.01\times10^{24}\) silicon atoms.
