Facing the centre, each person’s left is the next seat clockwise and their right the next seat anticlockwise. Fix B; F sits three to B’s left and H three to B’s right. A may touch neither F nor B, which leaves A only one seat, and C sits opposite her. G, with D two seats to G’s left, then fits in one way only, and E takes the last seat, clear of B as required. Clockwise the circle reads B → D → C → F → E → H → A → G.
B’s left is the next seat clockwise, and D occupies it. G is on B’s right, so there is no doubt between the two.
