Find the odd number pair from the given responses
Answer: B
The odd pair is 16 : 64.
In three of the pairs the second number is three times the first: \(81 \times 3 = 243\), \(64 \times 3 = 192\) and \(25 \times 3 = 75\). In 16 : 64 the second number is four times the first.
So 16 : 64 breaks the rule shared by the others.
In odd-one-out questions on number pairs, first look for a single operation that turns the first number into the second in most of the pairs; the pair that does not fit that operation is the answer.
