While appointing the judge in USA the President has to get consent of ............
Answer: C
The President must get the consent of the Senate.
Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution says the President shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate shall appoint, judges of the Supreme Court and other officers. The Senate Judiciary Committee holds hearings, and the full Senate confirms by a simple majority.
The House of Representatives has no part in judicial appointments, so 'Congress' as a whole is also wrong: only one chamber gives consent. An outgoing judge has no say in choosing a successor.
