What do you think Norman O. Brown's book is about ?
Answer: D
Norman O. Brown's book, Life against Death, is about the struggle between life and death, as the title says, set within a psychoanalytic reading of history. This is the last option.
Life, death and history are each only a part of the theme. The title and the passage describe the contest between the drive to live and the fear of dying. Brown's conclusion, quoted in the passage, is that mankind must be ready to die if it is to survive, which shows that the book treats both sides together.
