What is the effect of the fillet command?

Correct answer: it replaces a corner with an arc of stated radius
Fillet trims or extends the two entities as needed and inserts a tangent arc of the given radius between them. A radius of zero simply brings the two to a sharp intersection, which is a useful way of closing a corner that does not quite meet. Chamfer is the corresponding command for a straight bevel.
