In which year the USB port was introduced?
Answer: C
USB was introduced in 1996.
The Universal Serial Bus 1.0 specification was released in January 1996 by a group of companies including Intel, Microsoft, Compaq and IBM, to replace the many different serial, parallel and keyboard ports on personal computers with a single standard connector. USB 1.1 followed in 1998 and USB 2.0 in 2000.
Development began around 1994, but the standard was not released in 1993 or 1997.
