Which HTML tag is NOT valid in strict DHTML structure ?
Answer: B
The tag not valid in the strict structure is .
The element sets typeface, size and colour directly in the markup. HTML 4.01 deprecated it and left it out of the Strict document type (and XHTML Strict), which keeps structure in HTML and presentation in CSS. DHTML is built on exactly that split: HTML for structure, CSS for appearance and JavaScript to change both through the DOM.
, and
are all valid in Strict, and they are the core of DHTML: scripts manipulate div and span elements to show, hide, move and restyle content.
