Which of the following element is removed by HTML5 ?
Answer: B
The element removed in HTML5 is dir.
HTML5 dropped several presentational or redundant elements, among them dir (a directory list, replaced by ul), font, center, big, applet, frame and frameset.
vlink, marginwidth and compact are attributes, not elements: vlink set the colour of visited links, marginwidth belonged to frames, and compact was used on lists. So none of them answers a question about an element.
