In HTML, which of the following is the attribute that is used to add a name/value pair to a microdata item ?
Answer: C
The attribute is itemprop.
In HTML microdata, itemscope creates an item, and itemprop on a descendant element adds a property to it: the attribute's value is the property name and the element's content is its value, giving a name/value pair.
itemref pulls in properties from elsewhere in the page, and itemid gives the item a global identifier; neither adds a name/value pair itself. 'item scope' is not the spelling of any attribute.
