Consider the following statements about StatefulSets.
1. They give each pod a stable identity and ordinal.
2. They associate persistent storage with each pod.
3. They make any database trivially safe to run in Kubernetes.
Answer: C
The first two are correct. The third is optimistic, since backup, failover and upgrade of a database remain hard problems whatever the orchestrator provides. The primitives help but do not solve it. Stateless services are far simpler.
