Richard Hoggart established :
Answer: C
Richard Hoggart established the Birmingham Centre for Contemporary Studies, that is, the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies at the University of Birmingham.
Hoggart, author of The Uses of Literacy (1957), founded the Centre in 1964 and was its first director; Stuart Hall succeeded him. The Centre is where British cultural studies took shape as a discipline. The option shortens its name, but it is plainly the institution meant.
Hoggart founded no School of Drama or school of poetry, and 'Practical Criticism' is associated with I.A. Richards at Cambridge, not with Hoggart.
