Below are two Statements regarding Classroom practices as per National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. Choose the correct answer from the given options.
Statement I : Different classroom practices, directly and indirectly do not promote different values.
Statement II : If all the students always sit facing the blackboard in the classes, it conveys a perception that the primary source of knowledge is the blackboard and the teacher.
Answer: D
The answer is Statement I is incorrect but Statement II is correct.
The National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 points out that different classroom practices, directly and indirectly, do promote different values, so Statement I, which denies this, is incorrect.
Its own example is Statement II: if students always sit facing the blackboard, the arrangement conveys that the blackboard and the teacher are the primary source of knowledge.
