BMI is mass divided by the square of height:
\[ \begin{aligned} A &: 45 / 1.45^2 \approx 21.4 \\ B &: 50 / 1.50^2 \approx 22.2 \\ C &: 55 / 1.55^2 \approx 22.9 \\ D &: 60 / 1.70^2 \approx 20.8 \end{aligned} \]
E, not offered, gives \(70 / 1.80^2 \approx 21.6\).
The trap is to pick the heaviest person: D weighs more than C, but D's greater height, squared, more than cancels the extra weight. B is second, and A has the lowest weight but not the lowest BMI.
