Statements:
1. The train normally leaves on time.
2. The scheduled departure is at 14 : 30.
Answer: D
Correct answer: Neither 1 or 2 is sufficient
Statement 2 gives the scheduled time and statement 1 says the train normally leaves on time - but “normally” is not “always”, and neither statement says what happened today. The actual departure time therefore remains unknown even with both.
