The National Science Day in India is celebrated on
Answer: A
National Science Day is celebrated on 28 February.
The date marks the announcement of the Raman effect by C.V. Raman in 1928: the change in the wavelength of light scattered by molecules. The discovery won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930, and India has observed 28 February as National Science Day since 1987.
The other dates are not National Science Day. 15 January is Indian Army Day and 12 August is International Youth Day, while 4 April has no link with Raman's discovery.
