'Teacher's Day' is observed on which of the date?

Teachers' Day is observed on 5 September, the birthday of Dr S. Radhakrishnan.
When his students asked to celebrate his birthday in 1962, the philosopher-president suggested it be marked as Teachers' Day instead. World Teachers' Day is 5 October.
