Which one of the following is an 'Air-to-Air' missile ?
Answer: A
The air-to-air missile is Astra.
Astra, developed by DRDO, is India's indigenous beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile, fired from fighter aircraft such as the Su-30MKI to destroy enemy aircraft at long range.
Akash is a surface-to-air missile, fired from the ground at aircraft. Prithvi is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. Becquerel is not a missile at all: it is the SI unit of radioactivity, one nuclear decay per second.
