Inference: Egyptian built the pyramids
Answer: D
The inference that the Egyptians built the pyramids can be drawn from paragraphs 1 and 3. Paragraph 1 says that until about 1640 BC Egyptian kings buried their dead in pyramids, and paragraph 3 describes a burial in a tomb inside the pyramid with a procession to a temple near it.
Paragraph 2 speaks only of embalming and mummies and has no mention of the pyramids, so the inference cannot be drawn from it. So the answer is only 1 and 3, and the options with paragraph 2 are wrong.
