K is 40 m South-West of L. If M is 40 m South-East of L, then M is in which direction of K?
Answer: A
Correct answer: East
Take L at the centre. K lies 40 m to the south-west and M 40 m to the south-east, so both are the same distance south of L but on opposite sides. M is therefore due east of K.
