Hemant in order to go to university started from his house in the east and came to a crossing. The road to the left ends in a theatre, straight ahead is the hospital. In which direction is the university?

Correct answer: North
Having started from his house in the east and reached the crossing, Hemant is travelling west. The road on his left runs south to the theatre and the road straight ahead runs west to the hospital, so the university lies on his right - to the north.
