Shyam is looking South East.
Start both at a point O. Nithin walks 4 km east and turns right, so he walks south: he ends 4 km east and 4 km south of O. Shyam walks 4 km west, turns right (north) and walks 4 km: he ends 4 km west and 4 km north of O.
To face Nithin, Shyam must look east and south equally, that is, south-east. South alone or north-east would point away from Nithin's position.
