Which article of Indian Constitution talks about the Uniform civil code for the citizens?
Answer: C
The Uniform Civil Code is found in Article 44 of the Constitution, a Directive Principle of State Policy in Part IV: the State shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India.
Article 38 directs the State to promote the welfare of the people by securing a social order, Article 25 guarantees freedom of conscience and the free profession, practice and propagation of religion, and Article 74 provides for the Council of Ministers to aid and advise the President. Only Article 44 mentions a uniform civil code.
