The number of tigers in Karnataka as per the 2018 All India Tiger Estimation Report is __________ .
Answer: B
Karnataka had 524 tigers in the 2018 estimation.
The All India Tiger Estimation of 2018, released in July 2019, counted 2,967 tigers in India. Madhya Pradesh had the most, 526, and Karnataka came second with 524, followed by Uttarakhand with 442.
That is why 526 is the trap: it is Madhya Pradesh's figure, two more than Karnataka's. 442 is Uttarakhand's count, and 512 is not a state figure from that report.
