If the voltage applied to a diode having forward bias resistance of 1 Ω is changed from 0.6 V to 0.9 V, the change in current in it is
Answer: A
The change in current is 300 mA.
The forward bias (dynamic) resistance relates a change in voltage to the change in current it produces: \(r = \frac{\Delta V}{\Delta I}\).
\[ \begin{aligned} \Delta I &= \frac{\Delta V}{r} = \frac{0.9 - 0.6}{1} \\ &= 0.3 \text{ A} = 300 \text{ mA} \end{aligned} \]
750 mA is the average of the two voltages divided by 1 Ω, not the change, and the other values do not come from \(\Delta V / r\).
