Which advantage does an expert system have over a human expert?
Answer: B
A system gives the same answer to the same case at any hour, never tires and can be copied, which is the practical argument for building one. Recognising its own limits, applying common sense and learning from experience are exactly the things it does not do, and the last of these is what case-based reasoning and machine learning were introduced to supply.
