Who had announced that democracy is a government " of the people, by the people and for the people " ?
Answer: A
Abraham Lincoln gave that definition of democracy.
The phrase closes the Gettysburg Address of 19 November 1863, delivered at the dedication of the soldiers' cemetery there. The whole speech ran to under three minutes and some 270 words.
