Who is the first women chief minister in India ?

Sucheta Kripalani was India's first woman Chief Minister.
She led Uttar Pradesh from 1963 to 1967. She had earlier been a member of the Constituent Assembly and sang Vande Mataram in the House on the eve of independence.
