Tajmahal was built on the bank of Which river ?
Answer: D
The Taj Mahal stands on the Yamuna.
Shah Jahan built it at Agra between 1632 and 1653 for Mumtaz Mahal. The river matters to the design: the tomb is set at the far end of the garden rather than the centre, so that it is seen reflected from across the water.
