Where is the Morris Canal Located?
Answer: A
The Morris Canal is in New Jersey.
Opened in 1831, it ran 107 miles from the Delaware to the Hudson, carrying anthracite to the iron furnaces of New Jersey. It climbed some 1,674 feet using inclined planes rather than locks alone, a rare engineering solution.
