Name the Village, declared as the first fully solar powered village in India
Answer: A
The village is Modhera.
Modhera in Mehsana district, Gujarat, famous for its Sun Temple, was declared India's first round-the-clock solar-powered village in October 2022. Rooftop solar on homes and a ground-mounted solar plant with battery storage supply its electricity.
Punsari in Gujarat is known as a model 'smart' village with Wi-Fi and CCTV, not as the first solar village. Waghai and Madhapur do not hold this title.
