Which of the following places is known as the village of temples ?
Answer: D
The village of temples is Maluti.
Maluti, in Dumka district of Jharkhand, has a large cluster of terracotta temples, built by the local Baj Basanta kings in the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries. Of the 108 once said to stand there, about 72 survive, which is why it is called the village (or town) of temples.
Sisai, Ramjari and Narasimhapur are not known for a cluster of temples of this kind; the name 'village of temples' is attached to Maluti alone.
