Which fort has been mentioned in the inscriptions as ' Suvarnagiri'?
Answer: A
The fort called Suvarnagiri in inscriptions is Jalore Fort.
The hill on which Jalore Fort stands was known as Suvarnagiri (golden hill), and the fort as Sonalgarh or Swarnagiri. It was a stronghold of the Paramaras and later of the Songara Chauhans, whose ruler Kanhad Dev defended it against Alauddin Khilji in 1311.
Jaisalmer Fort is called Sonar Qila for its yellow sandstone, which is a different name. Gagron is a water fort in Jhalawar, and Jaigarh is at Amer.
