Which fort is situated on a plateau which is famous as the Plateau of Mesa?
Answer: B
The fort on the Mesa plateau is Chittorgarh.
Chittorgarh fort stands on a long, flat-topped hill rising steeply from the plain near the Gambhiri and Berach rivers. A flat-topped hill with steep sides is a mesa, which is why the plateau is described this way. It is one of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Kumbhalgarh lies on an Aravalli ridge, Ranthambhore in the hills of the Ranthambhore park, and Nahargarh on the ridge above Jaipur.
