Non-destructive inspection methods used for airframe cracks include
Answer: C
Correct answer: Eddy current, ultrasonic and penetrant
These three are the mainstays for airframe crack detection, and each has its place: eddy current for surface and near-surface cracks including those under a fastener head, ultrasonic for buried defects and thickness, penetrant for surface-breaking cracks in non-ferrous parts.
