An amplifier has a loop gain of \( 199 \). A ten per cent change in its open-loop gain shifts the closed-loop gain by about
Answer: C
The sensitivity is reduced by one plus the loop gain:
\[ \frac{10\%}{200} = 0.05\% \]
giving about 0.05 per cent. Ten per cent would be the figure with no feedback at all. A loop gain of two hundred divides every open-loop imperfection by two hundred, which is why designers spend gain so freely on feedback.
