The warm colour is red-orange.
On the colour wheel the warm colours are the reds, oranges and yellows, hues associated with fire and sunlight that seem to advance towards the viewer and convey energy and excitement. Red-orange, a tertiary colour between red and orange, falls squarely in this half of the wheel, which is why designers use such colours to draw attention in layouts and advertisements.
Blue, green and blue-violet are on the other side of the wheel. They are cool colours, associated with water, sky and foliage, which seem to recede and give a calm effect.
