Which lines are straight on a skew-T diagram?
Answer: C
On a skew-T the isotherms run as straight lines at 45 degrees and the isobars are straight and horizontal, while the dry adiabats are gently curved and the saturated adiabats strongly so. Saturated adiabats cannot be straight on any diagram that also preserves the area property. Knowing which families are curved prevents misreading a plotted sounding.
