The group of roots is Carrot, Beetroot, Radish.
Carrot, beetroot and radish are all swollen taproots that store food.
Each other group contains a stem. Potato is a stem tuber, and ginger and turmeric are rhizomes, underground stems with nodes and buds. Sweet potato is a root, but turmeric in the same group is a stem, so only the last group is made entirely of roots.
