Assertion (A) : Chocking reduces dispersion of pellets.
Reason (R) : Constriction of barrel at muzzle end occurs in chocking.
Answer: A
The answer is Both (A) and (R) are true.
Choke is a slight narrowing of a shotgun barrel at the muzzle end, so the reason is a correct description. As the shot charge passes through the constriction it is squeezed together, and the pellets leave in a tighter group, so the pattern spreads less at a given range. The assertion that choking reduces dispersion is therefore also true, and the constriction is indeed why.
That rules out the options calling either statement, or both, false.
