"DRUGFIRE" system is associated with :
Answer: A
DRUGFIRE is a database of firing pin and primer impressions on spent cartridges.
DRUGFIRE was the FBI's automated firearms identification system of the 1990s. It captured images of the breech face and firing pin marks on fired cartridge cases recovered from crime scenes, so that cases from different shootings fired in the same gun could be linked. It was later replaced by the NIBIN network using the IBIS system.
Capturing and comparing bullet striations was the function of a different system, Bulletproof. Recovering cartridges and bullets is a crime scene task, and DRUGFIRE was a database, not a way of searching on 'the same computer system'.
