Such a computer is called a zombie.
A botnet is a network of computers infected with malware and controlled remotely by an attacker, the bot herder, through command-and-control servers. Each infected machine, called a zombie or bot, obeys commands without its owner's knowledge, for example to send spam or take part in distributed denial-of-service attacks.
Serf, vassal and thrall are historical words for people in servitude, which fit the idea of a slave machine but are not the term used in computing.
