The Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur Coaching Scheme origin in the year :
Answer: B
The scheme began in 1953.
The Rajkumari Amrit Kaur Coaching Scheme was started by the Government of India in 1953, named after the then Union Health Minister who championed it. It provided trained coaches to raise the standard of sports in the country, and its coaching programme later passed to the National Institute of Sports, Patiala (1961) and then to the Sports Authority of India.
1952, 1954 and 1955 are near misses; the All India Council of Sports was set up in 1954, which is a common source of confusion.
