Which advantage does electric power steering offer?
Answer: A
The motor draws current only while the driver is steering, saving perhaps three per cent of fuel compared with a continuously driven pump. It also allows the assistance to be varied electronically and enables lane keeping and parking assistance. Feel is generally considered inferior. Tracing the requirement back to the physical constraint that produces it makes the answer follow. Working the distinction through on a single concrete case fixes it more firmly than any rule of thumb.
