Which four wheel steering behaviour applies at high speed?
Answer: B
Same phase steering at speed makes the vehicle change lane by moving bodily sideways rather than by rotating, which is far more stable. Opposite phase at speed would be dangerously nervous. The threshold is typically around fifty kilometres per hour. The shared behaviour explains why these belong together and the differences explain why both exist. A symptom that appears under one condition and not another is what narrows the diagnosis quickly.
