Mnemonics, a memory aid, are used in which of the following languages?
Answer: B
Correct answer: Assembly language
Assembly language replaces the binary operation codes of machine language with short mnemonics - ADD, MOV, JMP - that a person can remember and read. An assembler translates them back to the binary the processor needs. Machine language has no mnemonics at all, and high-level languages use ordinary words and expressions instead.
