The term 'Victim' has been defined under :
Answer: A
'Victim' is defined in Section 2(wa) of the Cr.P.C.
Clause (wa) was inserted in Section 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the amendment of 2009. It defines a victim as a person who has suffered any loss or injury caused by the act or omission for which the accused has been charged, and includes his or her guardian or legal heir. The Code has since been replaced by the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
The other clauses are not the definition of victim in the Code.
