(1) Ultraviolet
(2) Microwaves
(3) X-rays
(4) Television and Radio

In ascending order of wavelength the regions are (3), (1), (2), (4).
- X-rays: about 0.01-10 nanometres.
- Ultraviolet: about 10-400 nanometres.
- Microwaves: about 1 millimetre to 1 metre.
- Television and radio waves: longer still, from about a metre to kilometres.
Option A is close to the descending order, and B and D misplace X-rays or microwaves. Wavelength rises as energy falls, from X-rays to radio.
