The answer is both (A) and (B) are true and (B) is the correct explanation of (A).
The moon takes about 27 days to go once around the earth, and it takes almost exactly the same time to turn once on its own axis. Because its rotation and revolution keep pace, the same face of the moon is always turned towards the earth, which is why we see only one side of it.
So (A) is true, (B) is true, and (B) is precisely the reason for (A). The options saying that one statement is false, or that (B) does not explain (A), are therefore wrong.
