The following countries were not the original members of the Association of South-East Asian Nations :
Answer: C
The countries that were not original members are Vietnam and Laos.
ASEAN was founded by the Bangkok Declaration of 8 August 1967 by five states: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Brunei joined in 1984, Vietnam in 1995, Laos and Myanmar in 1997 and Cambodia in 1999.
Every other option pairs two of the five founders, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore, so they all name original members.
